Dispose of food scraps promptly and clean food preparation areas thoroughly.
Ensure the kitchen bin is emptied every day and all rubbish bins are sealed shut
Keep your home and property clean of all unwanted items and rubbish
Ensure your grass is kept mowed and all grass clippings are placed in the refuse bin
Ensure pet food bowls are picked up and cleaned – rodents love pet food !
Store pet food in seal containers – not in open bags where rodents will infest
Block access points to cupboards containing food and food preparation utensils
Seal any holes in skirting boards and around drain pipes particularly under the kitchen sink
Cut back all tree branches away from the house to prevent rodents breaching onto the roof
